"52 Blue": A Trailer

A project to create a metaphorical "trailer" for Leslie Jamison's 52 Blue(August 2014)

I decided to focus on the human element of Jamison's writing, highlighting humanity's loneliness and constant search for companionship, of which Jamison delves deeper into with her interviews of fans of the 52 Blue whale.

Utilizing both Premiere Pro and After Effects, I spliced together found images with animation to craft a new narrative from the original essay's story.
